David Patel

"I never thought I could find a visa route. I have been told by every solicitor under the sun that there just wasn't an avenue for somebody who is self-employed, such as myself. I own a small business, so I gave up on it for several years, and then I was connected to Yash and his crew, and here I am."

Bonnie Liu

Beijing, China

"From the outset, Nagina & Mehak at Mannah Trust took great care of us, providing us with a clear guide on the documentation we needed to provide and when the time came, walked us through the additional steps we needed to complete in order to get the visa fast tracked through the system. Even with the fast track, I was expecting the visa decision to take longer, but when we found out that everything was accepted in under a week we were delighted. Without their help then there is no doubt it would've taken much longer, and we would have struggled with the application."

The UK offers many opportunities for individuals and businesses

But the immigration system is notoriously complex and not for the faint-hearted. One administrative oversight could mean a major set-back for your plans, which can sometimes take years to resolve. That’s a pressure you can do without – and it’s why we exist. Immigration administration shouldn’t keep you awake at night. At Mannah Trust Consultancy Services, we make sure it doesn’t.

Frequently asked questions

Is There a Self Sponsorship Visa Route UK?

Self-sponsorship in the UK is not a specific type of visa, but rather a way for business owners to stay/live in the UK to run their active trading business. This involves using a Skilled Worker visa, combined with having a sponsor licence for your own UK-based business.

How do I apply for a Standard Visitor Visa UK?

Applications for a Standard Visitor Visa UK are made online unless you are from North Korea. You will need to have your biometric information, such as fingerprints and photographs, taken at your local Visa Application Centre. Our lawyers have a proven record of success securing Standard Visitor Visas for clients and will guide you through each step of the process.

How long will it take to receive a Standard Visitor Visa UK?

Unless you apply using either the priority or super-priority service (which are not available in all countries), it can take an average of up to three weeks to find out if your Standard Visitor Visa UK has been granted. If the priority or super-priority services are available in your country, subject to paying an additional fee, you are likely to receive a decision within five working days or by the next working day, respectively.

What is the Skilled Worker route visa?

At the end of 2020, the Home Office made changes to a new points-based immigration system. The Skilled Worker route opened for applications and replaced the Tier 2 (General work visa) route. While there are a number of similarities between Tier 2 (General) and the Skilled Worker route, changes have been introduced to allow employers to sponsor a wider workforce from outside the UK.
